Staffing   

The staffing ratio is 1:4 / 1:8 / 1:10 depending on the ages of the children being cared for. There are at least two staff present at any time. Members of staff at Krayola Kids are highly trained both in-house and at Further Education Colleges/Universities. Staff are encouraged to attend courses we feel will benefit them in their caring of children and also to promote them on the career ladder within the company.
Senior staff on each site hold a recognised childcare qualification. All staff have clear understanding of equal opportunities and will treat all individuals with the respect and understanding they deserve. They will carry out this policy throughout the clubs.

Staff are given basic training in Child Protection, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Take 5 in Play-work, Equality, and the needs of Play Provision.
